The technical veneers of the frames are made by making massive laminated blanks from individually dyed 1.5mm birch veneers. 0.6 mm thick veneer sheets are cut from the blanks with a veneer knife. The colored veneer layers appear on the surface as a living surface that reflects light in a unique way. Silver mirror lenses complete the whole.
