OVERWRITE PROTECTION FUNCTION Our CFast 2.0 card reader has an overwrite protection switch that protects against accidental deletion of files and prevents the system from writing unwanted files to the card.

The CFast card must be removed BEFORE activating or deactivating the card reader's overwrite protection switch.

Angelbird's CFast 2.0 memory card reader is built with a modular structure that fits seamlessly with other card reader models, the CFast 2.0 memory card reader is intended for fast input of CFast 2.0 media. It connects to a Windows, Mac or Linux system via the USB Type-C port, which operates in accordance with the 10 Gb/s USB 3.1 Gen 2 standard. If your system does not support the USB 3.1 Gen 2 standard, it is backward compatible with other USB standards. Since the USB Type-C port has the same connection as Thunderbolt 3, this card reader can be connected directly to Thunderbolt 3 ports. To facilitate system connectivity, both a 50 cm USB Type-C-Type-C cable and a USB Type-C-Type-A adapter are included.

Angelbird's CFast 2.0 card reader is bus powered, meaning it is powered directly from your system's USB or Thunderbolt port, with no additional cables or power supplies required. With a durable aluminum housing, their Solid Stack construction helps protect your data from power surges and environmental conditions such as X-rays, frost and hot sun. Angelbird has also built the USB Type-C port with Solid Connect, which helps ensure stable and uninterrupted data transfer and protects against cable wear. A built-in overwrite protection switch protects the contents of CFast 2.0 media from accidental deletion.
