The thermic shock usually happens because of the contact between the pre-heated solution and the film at environment temperature inside of the tank. The pre-heath bath has the task to make sure that the film and the tank are properly heated to avoid temperature shocks once the developer is poured in. Furthermore, even though the temperature should be as consistent as possible, a 2-3°C allows to obtain good results if the average temperature remains 37,8-38°C. The kit includes all the necessary chemicals to develop 12-20 135/36 films using the diluted solutions within a maximum of 5 weeks. If used within 7-10 days and stocked in dark bottles, it's possible to develop up to 20 films. We recommend developing 2-4 films at a time for a higher efficiency.
