Spikeball (Roundnet) is a fast-paced, exciting and fun game for the yard, beach and park. A perfect game for evening parties as well. The game is easy and quick to learn, suitable for players of almost any age and can be played almost anywhere. The game has many elements of volleyball, but the ball is not hit over the net, but into a horizontally erected net, similar to a trampoline. The playing area can be any flat area of about 10 x 10 m.
Spikeball differs from many other ball games in that the game environment is a 360-degree area where there are no sides, but players are allowed to move freely on the playing field after the initial pass. In the game, there are four players who are divided into two teams, in the game, the ball is passed towards the opposing players through a net set up parallel to the ground, and the ball must be returned with a maximum of three touches. As in volleyball, you must not touch the ball twice in a row yourself, but the touches must come alternately with a partner.
The goal of the game is to make the opponent lose the ball, and to be the first to collect 21 points. A point is scored whenever the opponent can no longer get the passed ball back.
