This engraving set contains everything you need to carve your own love spoon. Love spoon carving began in the mid-1600s, when young men would carve spectacular spoons for their sweethearts as a token of true love.



This engraving spoon set is more challenging (medium) than the other BeaverCraft starter kits, making it ideal for slightly more experienced carvers or daring beginners. With the included instructions, even beginners can successfully carve this impressive and textured spoon. As well as being a true labour of love, making this spoon will teach you lots of different techniques for carving wood and is also a demonstration of good hand skills.

The kit comes with everything you need to carve your own spoon. It includes selected materials, plans and tools that are not too challenging for beginners to use, but that teach you everything you need to know about the basics of woodcarving. Of course, the tools included in the kit are also suitable for digging simpler spoons, which can also be just as good as a token of love! Since this knife is not meant to be disposable, it also comes with the tools needed to sharpen it: a sharpening file and a chuck.



This set also comes with an illustrated instruction book in English that walks you through the steps of bird carving from start to finish. The instructions are also available as a video in English.

    Tools are professionally sharpened and come ready to use right out of the box.

    Each instrument has a solid construction, and the blade is bonded firmly and securely to the handle.

    The tool blade is made of hardened carbon steel and tempered to a hardness of 56+ HRC.

    Our tools will not break if used properly (for woodcarving only).



We do not cover the following:



    Normal wear and tear of the product. Each customer must independently maintain the sharpness of the tool they have purchased. Loss of sharpness during use is not grounds for repair or replacement of the tool as manufactured by BeaverCraft.

    Misuse or mishandling. BeaverCraft tools are designed for hand tooling only.

    Lack of maintenance and cleaning (learn how to service the tool). Defects resulting from improper storage of the tool are not grounds for replacement.

    Self-repair, modification, disassembly, and other human activity that causes damage.

    Loss of tool.

The ten-year warranty applies only to BeaverCraft woodcarving tools.



    Always exercise extreme care when using or sharpening our tools.

    BeaverCraft tools are not designed as weapons and should never be used as such.

    Injuries that occur during careless use or improper maintenance of BeaverCraft tools are a risk of which our customers are aware. You should never overlook safety precautions and follow proper procedures when using woodworking tools.
