General Sharpening Instructions



1. Inspect the Blade



    Visual Inspection: Look for visible defects or nicks in the blade.

    Feel: Be prepared to feel the blade with your fingertips gently to feel for any dull spots.




2. Select Sharpening Tools



    Sharpening Stone.

    Sandpaper: you can also use sandpaper if sanding stones are not available.

    Sharpening stick: especially handy for concave blades.

We do not cover the following:



    Normal wear and tear of the product. Each customer must independently maintain the sharpness of the tool they have purchased. Loss of sharpness during use is not grounds for repair or replacement of the tool as manufactured by BeaverCraft.

    Misuse or mishandling. BeaverCraft tools are designed for hand tooling only.

    Lack of maintenance and cleaning (learn how to service the tool). Defects due to improper storage of the tool are not grounds for replacement.

    Self-repair, modification, disassembly and other human activity that causes damage.

    Loss of tool.
