The draw length of the Benelli m2 Black COMPACT model is 338 mm, that is, the stock is 27 mm shorter than in the basic version.

The new M2 Black is suitable for all shotgun hunting. The model has been completely redesigned and several features important to hunters have been introduced to make use smoother.

The gun has a two-part sprung cartridge holder plate, thanks to which the loading of cartridges into the magazine and their removal from the magazine (from the bottom) is significantly lighter and more user-friendly than, for example, in older M2 series models. The new M2 model has also received the familiar Easy Locking lock from the Raffaello-13 series. The lock rotates all the way to the end, even if you close the lock quietly with your hand. So the gun is always ready to fire.

The lock body has been redesigned to achieve optimal balance. In addition, the gun's rear and front stock as well as the front part of the trigger arc and the charging port have been completely redesigned, and the front grain of the rail is even longer and more luminous. In the roughening of the logs and the coating, special attention has been paid to the feel and firm grip. The new larger controls enable smooth operation in all situations.

Inertia functionality and the excellent technological solutions introduced into the model make the M2 a solid and reliable shotgun.

The biggest changes between the familiar M2 Comfortech model and this new M2 -23 model are:

the cartridge holder plate changes to a two-part sprung cartridge holder plate.
the lock changes to an Easy Locking lock.
the stock is synthetic, the rear stock DOES NOT have the Comfortech feature. (i.e. there is no recoil damping in the structure of the stock)

The irons of the Benelli M2 -23 Black model are matte black and have a synthetic black stock.

• The breech drop can be adjusted to 50–65 millimeters from the aiming line using the breech adjustment pieces included in the standard delivery.

• As standard, a 1.5 cm thick polyurethane tail plate that is attached with washers.
• Pull length as standard 338 mm (LOP).
