The breech is black and on the right side is the white text ETHOS Cordoba. The breech cover on this model is in ergalia and the metal parts of the gun (barrel, breech, etc.) have a matt finish. The forend has a patented "windows-system", i.e. a "window" in the forend that allows you to see the quantity and quality of the cartridges in the magazine.
The gun has a Crio cold-treated barrel with BE.S.T. (Benelli Surface Treatment) finish. The BE.S.T. surface treatment ensures complete protection against corrosion and wear. The barrel rail is a replaceable carbon fibre rail. The standard rail is a raised 10mm wide so called track rail. The front grain of the rail is a long red fibre grain. The standard delivery includes 5 Crio extension couplers with B.E.S.T coating. The barrel is ported and there are 12 holes on both sides of the rail. The reaming in the barrel of the gun also reduces muzzle rise, so barrel rise is almost completely eliminated in this top-of-the-line model.
The barrel is a ComforTech 3 barrel, which provides even less recoil, even better gun control and less barrel rise and therefore better re-aiming. ComforTech buttstocks are made of durable fiberglass-reinforced plastic. In addition, the logs feature an Aircell butt plate and Combtech cheek piece. The new construction of the buttstock, the back plate and the cheek piece together reduce the recoil of the gun by tens of percent. The length of the buttstock can be adjusted by means of different thicknesses of buttplates (the gun is supplied with one buttplate (25mm)). With the standard butt plate, the length of pull is 365mm. The model's butt drop is adjustable by means of standard butt adjustment pieces from 50-55-60-60-65-70mm from the sighting line, and the bend can be changed to suit either right or left hand shooters.
The model features the two-piece spring-loaded cartridge holder plate typical of the Raffaello-13 series, which makes loading cartridges into the magazine lighter and removing them from the magazine (from below) much easier and more user-friendly. The Easy Locking lock is also familiar from the Raffaello-13 series and will rotate to the end even if the lock is closed quietly by hand. The gun is therefore always ready to fire.
