The device can be used to improve general well-being, relieve pain, maintain fitness, relax, rehabilitate muscles and prevent fatigue. The effect of electrical stimulation equipment is based on the generation and transmission of impulses from body parts by electrodes through the skin to nerve and muscle fibres.
TENS involves the electrical stimulation of nerves through the skin. TENS is a clinically proven, effective, side-effect-free method authorised for use in the treatment of pain.
EMS (muscle stimulation) is used, for example, as a complement to traditional muscle training to improve the performance of muscle groups and to shape the body.
The massage technique enables a programme that resembles a real massage to be felt and effective.
The two separately adjustable channels of the digital EMS/TENS device allow you to independently set the intensity of the impulses to suit the two parts of the body to be treated. For example, you can stimulate both sides of the body or evenly stimulate large areas of tissue.Because the current intensity of the channels can be set separately, you can treat two different parts of the body at the same time. This saves you time compared to successive individual treatments.
