Bioproffa RoProStreu is an excellent addition to any soil ecosystem, bokashi, and compost. RoProStreu is pre-loaded with nutrients, EM microbes and other minerals and trace elements beneficial to plants. Biochar is an excellent microbial host that absorbs nutrients and moisture, releasing them to the plants later. The EM microbes, when introduced to organic matter (such as biowaste), initiate a fermenting process to upcycle what we perceive to be waste into valuable nutrition for plants and the rest of the soil food web.
Use
Add EM Biochar to your bokashi kitchen composter, mulch, compost and growing medium. Biochar’s uses are numerous, and “best practices,” are constantly evolving, but here are a few suggestions:
•For Bokashi: Add a handful to a bokashi kitchen composter to enhance fermentation, remove odours, and add an important component for nutrient-rich soil that better retains nutrients and moisture.
•For Bokashi Soil Factory: add a layer to the bottom of the bin - the biochar absorbs excess moisture and EM microbes accelerate the decomposition process.
•For Soil: Add BioProffa EM-activated Biochar to the substrate liberally, about 10 litres per square metre. Remember to water well! Biochar and microbes are essential components of the legendary Terra Preta soil.
