Thanks to the super hearty directional pattern, the BY-PVM3000 can effectively block all unwanted background noise from the side and behind. The longer the microphone housing is used, the narrower the reception angle, which provides accurate sound from the subject being recorded.
BOYA BY-PVM3000 microphone has preamplifier built-in low-pass filter switch, if you hear low-frequency sounds from air conditioner or traffic during recording, please switch to low level to eliminate these sounds
The BY-PVM3000 has a 3-pin XLR plug, if you want to use it for SLR cameras with a 3.5mm microphone jack, an XLR female to TRS audio cable is required. Or if you use it on camcorders with XLR connection, an XLR female to male audio cable is needed, the same audio cables are needed if it is to be used on professional recorders or other audio interfaces.
Compared to the BY-PVM3000 M and L, the BY-PVM3000S has the widest reception angle of about 70 degrees and the audio recordings have the most ambient sounds. This microphone is very widely used when the sound source is very close to the microphone.
