Ferritin Rapid Test
A fast and reliable rapid test for ferritin determination in human fingertip blood, when iron deficiency anemia is suspected. Answer in 5 minutes.

Read the instructions and take the test carefully. In terms of reliability, it is important to get the correct amount of blood into the pipette. Do not squeeze the ball of the pipette when taking the sample, but let it flow by itself into the pipette.

Note! The test line may appear very faint, but the darkness of the line does not indicate ferritin levels

The amount of ferritin describes the body's iron storage. The level of ferritin decreases earlier than hemoglobin and therefore the assessment of ferritin plays a decisive role in the early detection of iron deficiency anemia. However, the cause of iron deficiency should always be determined. If the test gives a negative result, i.e. the ferritin level is below 30 ng/ml, it is worth discussing the matter with healthcare professionals.

Iron deficiency anemia is most common in children and women of all ages, but especially in menstruating women (at least 20% suffer from iron deficiency). The main symptoms are paleness, a feeling of fatigue, headaches, a faster than usual heart rate or breathing difficulties during exercise training and slower recovery from exercise performance.
