The poster was made for the Olympic Games, which were to be held in Helsinki in 1940. The artist is one of Finland's greatest poster masters, Jorma Suhonen (founding member of the SEK advertising agency). This poster served as the starting point for the entire Come to Finland project. Project leader Magnus Londen saw the original poster years ago in the window of an antique store in Helsinki. An elegant lady, a splendid life, champagne - the poster has everything that Helsinki should be. The lady woke up the slumbering poster hunters of the project group, and the rest is history. We haven't seen more originals of that poster in our many years of hunting. Come to Finland's poster collection (and exhibition) includes the original mentioned above - so the lady is in (very) good hands these days.

Cards that smell like Finland! Wood is Finland's green gold, and therefore wooden versions of our cards are also available.
The wooden cards are naturally printed in Finland on Finnish birch plywood.
And the best thing is that you can post the wooden postcards like regular postcards.
Thickness: 3 mm.
Each card is unique. Since wood is a natural material, there are slight nuance differences in colors and surfaces.
