The artist describes his work: "When I started working on the poster, I thought about how I could best convey the beauty of Lapland as I myself see it. There are many things in Lapland that I love, but hiking in the open wilderness and the wonderful landscapes that open up from high places are among the best things. In Lapland, sometimes the colors can appear downright magical, and that's definitely what I thought was worth aiming for in my poster."
