The optimized Nordic rubber compound consists of silicon dioxide, oil and carbon black. These components ensure higher performance. Silica improves performance on wet surfaces, thanks to the added oil it is possible to achieve better handling in winter conditions, while carbon black helps in the pursuit of excellent driving performance (durability). All in all, the tire's new rubber compound is optimized especially for Nordic roads.
