CTK WaveFix 15 is a soft and very flexible pyramid-patterned damping mat.
CTK WaveFix is a polyurethane mat impregnated with latex. WaveFix always returns to its original shape, i.e. when the carpet is glued behind the panel and installed in place, WaveFix returns to its original shape and seals the empty space behind the panel.
At its best, the carpet dampens frequencies above 500Hz, but the damping power starts already at a frequency of around 100Hz.
WaveFix is a great product for removing various resonance sounds from e.g. doors, roof, dashboard and pillars.
CTK WaveFix bends very well, so it can also be installed on curved surfaces.
WaveFix can also be used to dampen the sound of various household appliances and devices. A great choice also inside speaker and subwoofer cases. Impregnation with latex gives the carpet excellent water resistance and gives the carpet weight, which helps absorb even more compared to a traditional soft carpet.
