The varnish contains boiled linseed oil, which can be used to impregnate wood, make red clay paint and chalk putty, and thin oil paints. Use EcoPrima Pine turpentine to clean the tools and thin the Vernissa.
Areas of use: Pressure-impregnated or heat-treated wood, untreated wood surfaces, precious wood surfaces, etc. Not suitable for treating varnished or painted surfaces. Use Vernissa outdoors, for example, to impregnate doors, window frames, garden furniture, etc. Indoors, Vernissa is suitable, for example, for treating wooden surfaces in the kitchen (cutting boards, etc.). Vernissa provides effective protection against moisture and dirt and a linen scent, especially indoors.
Instructions for use: Make sure that the wood surface to be treated is dry and the weather is not rainy. If necessary, clean the treated surface carefully. Remove possible mold with EcoPrima Mold Remover. Apply Vernissa thinly in the direction of the grain of the wood, for example with a brush or a lint-free cloth. Apply Vernissa especially carefully to the sawn surfaces and ends of the wood, where Vernissa is most effectively absorbed. Allow the Vernissa to absorb and after processing, wipe off the excess, unabsorbed Vernissa. Drying time, depending on layer thickness, conditions and wood quality, 1-3 days. Sand the wood surface between treatments. Depending on the intended use of the wooden surface, repeat the treatment 1-4 times.
NOTE! An easily flammable material, such as a tangle soaked in varnish, can catch fire by itself. Painting materials must either be burned or stored in a container of water.
