ColorEdge CG319X 31.1"
The ColorEdge CG319X is equipped with a built-in sensor that can be set to automatically calibrate the display at set times. This eliminates the need for a third-party calibrator and ensures that your display remains color accurate. In addition, the display has the latest sensor technology, which allows you to continue using it even during recalibration. The sensor comes onto the screen taking up little space, so your work remains uninterrupted. It is not recommended to perform color-critical work during recalibration, as the display colors are being adjusted.
ColorNavigator 7 color management software
ColorNavigator 7 is the latest calibration and quality control software for ColorEdge displays. It combines all the features of EIZO's previous color management software, ColorNavigator 6 and ColorNavigator NX, to create a new and improved solution for creative work in multiple fields. Own software makes calibration fast, easy and provides predictable results for photography, design, print and video works.
ColorNavigator Network Quality Control Software
ColorNavigator Network provides centralized quality control for ColorEdge displays with ColorNavigator 7 or NX installed. Administrators can set color modes, schedule self-calibration, register or adjust asset management settings, and other tasks, whether the displays are local or remote. ColorNavigator Network runs on a secure cloud server to free you from the initial investment and operating costs of your own server.
DCI 4K resolution
The ColorEdge CG319X displays the DCI 4K standard (4096 x 2160), which is more than four times larger than Full HD (1920 x 1080). It is ideal for creating, editing and referencing 2D and 3D CGI, VFX, compositing and color grading.
Large 31.1 inch screen
Whether you're creating, editing or reviewing your work, this monitor offers plenty of room to focus on 4K content. With a dense 149 ppi, it is suitable not only for editing videos, but also for editing and printing photos.
HDR Gamma support
The ColorEdge CG319X is equipped with HLG (hybrid log-gamma) and PQ (perceptual quantization) curves for viewing and editing HDR (high dynamic range) video content. Optimized gamma curves make images look more real to the human eye compared to SDR (standard dynamic range). This ensures that professional creators can reliably use HDR content for editing and color grading.
A wide range of colors in accordance with established industry standards
This wide-area display reproduces 98% of the DCI-P3 standard used in digital cinema and supports the Rec.2020 standard used in broadcasting. In addition, it covers 99% of the Adobe RGB color space, so images taken in Adobe RGB are displayed correctly. The large color space also guarantees the reproduction of almost all ISO-coated and USA net-coated CMYK color spaces used in printing
True black screen
Complying with the DCI standard, the ColorEdge CG319X offers a high contrast ratio of 1500:1 * to achieve true blacks that are otherwise difficult to display on an LCD screen. When you look at the screen from an angle in a dimly lit room, dark tones tend to disappear due to the characteristics of the LCD backlight. The CG series is equipped with a special retardation film, which allows the dye to maintain its depth even when viewed from an angle.
3D LUT for accurate color display
There is a 3D LUT that adjusts colors separately in the RGB cube table. With the supported ColorNavigator NX software emulation function, content creators can check how the content will look to their audience. The 3D LUT also improves the display's additive color mixing (RGB combination), which is a key factor in its ability to display neutral gray tones.
10-bit simultaneous display
The ColorEdge CG319X offers a 10-bit simultaneous display from a 24-bit look-up table (LUT), which means it can display more than a billion colors simultaneously. That's 64 times more colors than you get on an 8-bit display, resulting in even colors and reducing the Delta-E between two adjacent colors.
Broadcast and movie presets
Preset modes for DCI-P3, Rec.709 and Rec.2020 ensure that you can work in suitable color spaces and gamma values. In addition, preset modes for PQ (DCI and Rec. 2100) and HLG (Rec. 2100) are available for viewing HDR content. The built-in calibration sensor allows you to conveniently adjust or maintain the brightness setting of each preset.
Luminance warning
The ColorEdge CG319X includes a PQ and HLG crop function that displays areas of the image that appear brighter than the current setting. Areas that cannot be displayed at the correct brightness with the current settings are displayed in yellow or magenta. PQ and HLG cuts can be viewed at brightness levels of 300, 500, 1000 and 4000 cd / m2.
Safe area sign
The safe area marker indicates the area of the screen that will be displayed when the screen is connected to a specific device. This allows you to check that the subtitles are visible. The color of the badge is changeable to ensure it stays with all images.
Aspect Marker
The aspect marker indicates the screen size ranges that will be displayed on the display device when you input DCI 4K (4096 x 2160) or DCI 2K (2048 x 1080). This allows you to confirm how the size and composition of the view appears in other viewing environments. Aspect ratios of 1.85:1, 2.35:1 and 2.39:1 can be selected.
4K zoom function
Magnify areas of the screen to enhance small details and check the focus of photos with the 4K zoom function. It can be accessed quickly and easily with the buttons on the front of the screen.
