Fenix PD40R V3.0 is an updated model of the highly popular V2.0 model. We listened to our fans and updated the lamp to meet users' wishes. We improved the grip of the rotary switch, which now offers a non-slip grip and better adjustability than before, even when wearing gloves. This lamp offers a staggering 3000 lumens and illuminates no less than 23% further than the previous model. You can conveniently charge the lamp via the USB Type-C charging connector.

In the PD40R V3.0, we improved the grip of the rotary switch, which now offers a non-slip grip and better adjustability than the previous V2.0 model, even when wearing gloves. Switching to different power modes has been made easier, and you don't have to worry that the rotary switch will accidentally switch to SOS or strobe flashing mode. The Fenix PD40R V3.0 flashlight is suitable for the user who requires a top lamp with a compact size/power ratio and effortless usability.

A compact lamp with high brightness

This lamp produces a composite light pattern that is broad and load-bearing in nature. The maximum light output is a whopping 3000 lumens for the size of the lamp. Our new V3.0 model illuminates up to 500 meters and as much as +23% further than our previous V2.0 model (ANSI NEMA FL1). Thanks to the wide and powerful light pattern, the PD40R V3.0 is perfectly suited for efficient lighting of the nearby area with lower power and also for distant areas with high power. Fenix PD40R V2.0 is suitable for outdoor enthusiasts, hikers, security guards, official use and industrial maintenance tasks.

Fast USB-C charging

PD40R V3.0 can be charged in no time from the lamp's USB C charging connector without removing the battery! The lamp has a great 5000 mAh battery capacity that will light for long periods of time. You can monitor the charging progress and the remaining battery charge with a clear LED indicator.
Please note that ARB-L18-5000 batteries manufactured before December 2022 will not work in this flashlight. Use the ARB-L18-5000 V2.0 battery included with your purchase or the ARB-L18-5000U or ARB-L18-4000P battery models.
