The Green Land thermal composter is designed for efficient composting of household waste. It is compact in size, with an internal volume of 110 l, and is perfectly suited for households of 2-4 people or leisure apartments.
Food scraps, fruit and vegetable stems and peels, coffee grounds and other kitchen waste turn into soft soil in a few months. The adjustable ventilation valve can be used to aid and adjust the composting process. The internal temperature of the composter is easy to monitor with the thermometer placed on the front panel.
The lid of the thermal composter is securely hinged with metal hinges and the lid's automatically locking latch keeps the lid open when filling compost and servicing. The liquid formed during composting can be easily used, for example, as fertilizer for garden plants through a hose equipped with a tap. The composter has a large and easy-to-open hatch for emptying the finished compost material. A garden shovel is included, with which emptying can be done conveniently.
Green Land Lämpöcompostori is designed for year-round use. Thanks to the thick thermal insulation, composting continues even in the winter season, if there is enough compostable material in the composter, which is added regularly. Compost bedding is recommended to be used more in winter than in summer. If the composter freezes, it will not be damaged. Composting continues without heating when the compost has melted.
