The Hydrogen SPL elements are designed using Klippel optimisation, a 10-hour test that uses numerous measurements to examine the behaviour of the element and identify weak points and problems that need improvement early in the design phase.

The element is tortured at up to four times its power rating. The end result is an element with a very flat impedance response, meaning it picks up power well at all frequencies, has good sensitivity and can handle power well.

If you want to play LOUD, Hydrogen SPL is an excellent choice for your element. These elements have 2x1 ohm voice coils, but their impedance behaviour is so smooth that you can use them with Ground Zero mono amps connected to 0.5 ohm nominal load!

The solid and well-breathing cast frame holds the element together and allows the subbar to breathe through the frame properly. Functional voice coil ventilation and a sufficiently stiff voice coil, on the other hand, keeps the coil operating temperature correct even under heavier use.

The double bottom brace controls the movement of the cone, and the stitch-secured top brace and cone mount can withstand even the roughest of movements.
