In many respects, Bifrost is a completely new type of log. It is made of fiberglass-reinforced composite and its grip surfaces have been given just the right sticky rubber grip surfaces. The pistol grip is slightly tilted laterally in the GRS style to ensure a more relaxed wrist position. At the grip surface of the front log, the log widens slightly, offering a good grip for the forehand. Of course, Bifrost is also becoming a left-handed version.
Another major innovation in Bifrost is the new GRS Speedlock II sterndrive. It's not enough that the locks have changed, now the rear device also includes height and tilt adjustment as standard. Speedlock II also withstands the recoil of all calibers, so now you can drop the irons of even the stoutest magnum into the stock. The cheek pad is of course adjustable in height.
In addition to the rear device, the Bifrost is now equipped with picatinny rail locations both under the rear and under the front stock and on one side. The stock comes with one picatinny rail. Additional rails can be purchased in packs of two. Attaching bipods and other accessories is now easy right out of the box. In addition, there are mounting points for quick strap links embedded in the log, as well as a place for the Versapod spigot at the front end of the log.
