Härkila's clim8 HWS gloves are not just a pair of warm, windproof and waterproof hunting gloves - with the innovative clim8 technology, you can adjust the temperature of the gloves to exactly the warmth level you want, so the gloves automatically adjust the heat according to the weather and your activity level every time you wear them. The Härkila clim8 HWS gloves are made of soft, quiet and quick-drying tricot material, and feature our own windproof and waterproof Härkila Weather System HWS® film, which is specially designed for hunting, as it is more flexible and quieter than other films.
The membrane is designed for a hydrostatic head of 20,000 mm and a breathability of 20,000 g/m². The fabric has also been treated with DWR, which makes it dirt and water repellent. The inside of the gloves has innovative clim8 technology, which provides warmth where you need it most: the back of the palm and fingers. When you use the gloves for the first time, you set the desired temperature using the relevant app. The technology is then so smart that it notices every time you put the gloves on and automatically heats them to the level you set. If you are very active and start to heat up, the technology automatically reduces the heat. On the other hand, if you sit still or the weather gets cold, the technology automatically raises the heat.
Heat is produced by a rechargeable battery, which is zipped into a pocket under the wrist. A full charge gives about 2.5 hours of heat at 0 degrees outside temperature. The gloves are lined with PrimaLoft® material and have rubberized palms that guarantee a good grip on the weapon. The cuffs have a one-hand elastic drawstring that secures the gloves tightly around the arm and keeps the cold air out.
