Wildwood GTX shoes are made of extremely durable Cordura. Its advantage over leather is that it is very quick drying and very breathable, which also makes these boots the lightest in our range. They have reinforced stitching, excellent comfort and a medium-stiff sole that provides good support.
The boots feature a field-tested, waterproof GORE-TEX membrane and are designed and manufactured in Europe. We stand behind their quality. As with all our footwear, we offer a two-year warranty to cover you in the unlikely event that the boots develop a material or manufacturing fault.

The Wildwood GTX boots weigh only about 620 grams in the boot, making them the lightest in our range. They feature a mid-length, 7"/18cm shaft and a standard width last. The Wildwood GTX boots feature a waterproof GORE-TEX Sierra membrane. All boots' membranes are tested in a water bath during manufacture to ensure they are waterproof. We then run a 30 minute centrifuge test at 5% , for a sample of the total production of boots, which is an additional guarantee that the membrane is of the highest possible quality.
The upper of the boot is made of very durable Cordura, and the high-quality soles guarantee good grip. The shoes also have a shock-absorbing midsole, which guarantees long-distance walking comfort even on very rough terrain. The shoes are reinforced with particularly durable material in the toe and heel, where the wear is typically the greatest.
