The carpenter's square is a very versatile tool for all professionals. You can use it for precise 45° and 90° markings. It can also be used as a protractor to easily measure and mark other angles. In addition, its thick and smooth edge can be used as a guide when sawing 45° and 90° cuts with electric saws, and with a little practice or using a clamp, other angles as well. It also has marking notches that can be used to move lines along the edge, either by drawing with a pencil or, when working with plasterboard, by cutting directly with a knife. The medium and large models have the original scales for sawing rafters, trusses and rafters of seam roofs.
