A more environmentally friendly alternative to our popular utility knife. It has been possible to reduce the amount of plastic material in the handle, because renewable bio-based material has been added to the handle. In addition, the grooves in the handle reduce the use of plastic material. Overall, this reduces the negative environmental impact. The handle has a hole for a safety strap to attach the knife to prevent the knife from falling when working at height. The blade is made of 2.5 mm carbon steel, which is hardened to a hardness of 58-60 HRC. The knife is also available with a cardboard sheath, so you can continue using your current sheath and reduce your climate footprint even more. HVK BIO is as strong and durable as our other utility knives.
