Hydra Skypoint outboard motors are equipped with a highly accurate GPS antenna for precise anchoring and accurate tracking. In addition to the sky anchor function, which is particularly popular with cast anglers, the device's versatile GPS functions can be used for route guidance and route recording, as well as being used as an autopilot, for example as a fishing aid.

The Hydra Skypoint 12V 65lb 54" is a 12-volt electric bow motor with a highly efficient 65 lb electric motor, a durable 54" composite tube and a 3-bladed propeller. The powerful and high quality 65lb electric motor produces up to 20% more thrust compared to the most common 12 volt electric bow motors on the market. 12 volt Hydra Skypoint electric bow motors are suitable for installation on most fishing boats of around 5 metres. The indicative size range for a 12V 65lb 54" Hydra Skypoint bow thruster is from around 4.0m to 5.5m in length and less than 700kg in total weight. The selection of the optimum size of bow thruster will also be influenced by the other characteristics of the boat and the operating environment.

The Hydra Skypoint bow thruster is very easy to operate with the supplied wireless remote control. The on-screen remote control makes it easy to control the engine and its functions, even when visibility to the bow thruster is reduced. For example, the remote control's display can be used to monitor the function in operation, the speed of the boat, the battery voltage of the bow electric motor and the battery charge level of the remote control. The remote control can also be used to program up to 16 routes (up to 5km) and 16 waypoints, for example to your favourite fishing spots, into the unit's memory.
