Ilves Floor epoxy 2K - 2-component, glossy, water-based epoxy paint for floors indoors. The usage time is about 2 hours after mixing the components.
Product Information:
Suitable for indoor use. Primarily intended for concrete floors, but wood and fiberboard floors can also be painted with the paint. Suitable for floors where moisture resistance is required. Also suitable for ceramic and glazed tile floors. Treatment of wall tiles is not recommended due to the runny composition of the epoxy. The product is very breathable and allows moisture rising from the ground through the hardened paint film, so it is suitable for painting floors, e.g. in the basements. The painted surface is easy to clean.
ESIKÄSITTELY: Lattiapinnan on oltava kuiva ja puhdas. Uusien betonilattioiden annetaan kuivua vähintään 1 viikko. Poista sementtiliima happopesulla tai timanttihionnalla. Jos lattia on aikaisemmin maalattu, hio vanha maali himmeäksi ja poista irtonainen vanha maali. Vanhan betonilattian kolot ja halkeamat paikataan ennen epoksikäsittelyä sopivalla tasoitteella.
MIXING INSTRUCTIONS: Component A is added to the container of component B. If you want to mix a smaller amount in a separate container, the mixing ratio is component A: 3 parts by weight, component B: 7 parts by weight. Note that the ratio is in parts by weight, not liters. Mix the components with a machine mixer, for example a low-speed drill.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: Wear safety glasses. Mix the components according to the instructions. Always paint two coats. The mixture of the first layer can be thinned approx. 10–20% with water if the surface to be painted is very porous and absorbent. The second layer must be painted 10–24 hours after painting the first layer, preferably with strokes in the direction of the first painting. Take care of good ventilation. If the relative humidity of the air is over 85%, the surface may become completely shallow or spotty. Quartz sand can be added to the wet surface of the applied mixture to prevent slipping. Suitable decorative flakes can also be applied to the wet surface.
METHOD OF WORK: Brushing or rolling
WORKING CONDITIONS: The treated surface must be dry and dust-free. Floor temperature at least +10 °C and relative air humidity below 80%.
WATER VAPOR PERMEABILITY: Open to diffusion, i.e. breathable, if 2 films are applied, á 0.12 kg/m².
USE TIME OF THE MIXTURE: A maximum of 2 hours after mixing the components.
DRYING TIME: The finished painted floor can be used after about 24 hours. Full wear resistance is achieved after about 5–7 days. Do not drive the car into the garage until the product has fully hardened (5–7 days). Note! Minimum floor temperature during curing + 10 °C.
SUFFICIENCY: About 8 m²/kg once treated. Old worn concrete absorbs epoxy more than a new smooth surface.

TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE: Transport upright and supported. Protect from freezing. Keep out of reach of children.
