Returns
In Kärinen's online store Karkkainen.com, there is a combined marketplace platform, where independent Marketplace merchants can operate and sell their own products.
The products have a 30-day free return right. The product to be returned must be unused, salable and in its original packaging intact. Remember to return all the parts, including the user manuals and sales slips. Pack and cushion the products carefully for transport. Opened product packages must be closed neatly, without damaging the products and the package. Returns take about two weeks to process. The refund will be credited to the same payment method with which the order was paid in the online store. You will receive a notification in your email when your return has been processed.
When receiving the order, check the condition of the shipment and the products straight away. If you notice any damage, immediately report the damage to the transport company and contact customer service to agree on the delivery of a new product or spare part.
There is a charge for returning freight shipments. If you want the return to be picked up from your home, contact customer service by clicking the link on the order received mail or by clicking the "Customer support" button on the order confirmation. In this case, the costs incurred for the return will be charged. VAK shipments, such as cartridges, can only be returned as a Matkahuolto customer return.
Return restrictions
Sealed products: The seal must be intact. Sealed products include, for example, console and computer games, computer programs and software, as well as separately sealed products.
Cosmetics, hygiene and intimate products:The right to return ends when the packaging is opened. Such products include, for example, hair removal devices, hair care devices, dental hygiene devices, face masks, vacuum cleaners, washers, breathalyzers, headphones and hands-free devices, as well as blankets and pillows.
Phones: You can open the package, insert the battery and navigate to the menu. Accessories such as memory cards and headphones must not be used. The phone may not be used to make calls, send text, surf the internet or take pictures. No numbers or pictures can be stored on the phone.
IT equipment: The installation of the operating system determines the right of return. The programs downloaded to the computer determine the right of return. Files may not be stored on storage devices such as MP3 players and hard drives
Products made and ordered especially at the request of the buyer: The right of return is not granted for the product when the work has already started or the purchase order for the product to be acquired for the customer has been completed. Such products include, for example, goods by the meter (such as fabrics that can be cut from a roll, carpets, ropes, cables and hoses), custom-made blinds, a gift card and skis with bindings installed.
Foods: Foods can't be returned.
Clothing and shoes: Shoes and clothes can be tried on, but for reasons of hygiene, do not try on clothes or shoes on bare skin. Try on shoes indoors on a soft and clean surface, for example on a carpet. The tried on products must not contain dirt, stains or animal hair.
Return instructions for products sold by a Marketplace merchant
Return instructions vary by merchant. Product returns from marketplace merchants are always delivered directly to the merchant in accordance with their return instructions. Kärkkäinen does not receive or process returns from other merchants.
Check the return instructions for the product you ordered by clicking the "Customer Service" button found on your order confirmation. You can find return instructions by choosing "Returns and complaints" as the contact subject and the order to which the return applies. If you are registered as our customer, you can also find return instructions in your order history.
If it's a warranty or maintenance issue, contact the Marketplace retailer via the "Customer Service" button found on your order confirmation.
Return instructions for products sold by Kärkkäinen
Make a return notification before returning the product at Returnado, which is Kärkkäinen's return partner.Registration of the return notice is done with the order number and email address. You can check your order number in the "Order received" message or in the delivery confirmation.

Free return right for packages delivered through Matkahuolto requires printing a return label.
Returning via Posti
1. Create a return notice in Returnado via the link found in the "Order received" email or at https://karkkainen.returnado.com.
2. You will receive a confirmation email about registering a return notice. You can find Posti's Helposti code in the attachment file of the message.
3. Pack the return package, if necessary, carefully pad the product you are about to return for transportation.
4. Take the return package to a Posti service point or parcel machine. When returning through the service point, tell the Helposti code to the clerk or write it on the return package. When returning to the parcel machine, follow the instructions on the screen, you can find more detailed instructions here.
5. Keep the return receipt until we have confirmed that your return has been processed.
Palautus Matkahuollolla

Returning via Budbee
Budbee returns are only possible for orders delivered with Budbee Box or Home delivery methods.
1. Pack the return package, if necessary, carefully pad the product you are about to return for transportation. Put a piece of paper inside the return package on which you have clearly marked your contact information, your order number and the information about the product to be returned and the reason for the return. If a shipping list has been delivered with the order, you can attach it to the return.
2. Book a pickup for your return via the delivery tracking link of the order you received from Budbee, if your order has been delivered to your home by Budbee. If your order has been delivered to Budbee Box, go to the order information of your Budbee delivery, book a return and choose which parcel machine you want to return the package to. You can get more information about the reservation from the confirmation message sent by Budbee. Budbee returns are label-free, meaning you don't need a return label.
Returns to stores

Please note that products purchased from the Kärkkäinen department store cannot be returned in accordance with the return policy of the online store. Regarding in-store purchases, always contact the department store where you have shopped.
