The geometric WIR-105 light source designed by Tapio Wirkkala in 1959 completely revolutionized the concept of the traditional light bulb. The Milano 1 pendant lamp gets its name from the Milan Triennale, where it was exhibited for the first time and where it was awarded the Grand Prix, i.e. the highest award. The lamp consists of an opal glass LED light source and a metallic black lamp holder. The package includes a dimmable WIR-105 light source, a lamp holder, a black cord, a lamp plug and a ceiling cup.
