A grapefruit-flavored delicacy whose acidity and bite of sweetness tickle the taste buds. Mexican Don Francisco “El Güero” Hill founded Jarritos in 1950. The first Jarritos flavor was coffee. Since coffee is usually drunk as coffee, a fruity tangerine was developed alongside the flavor. After that, more and more fruity flavors from lime to guava came to the selections. The flavors come from real fruit. Each fruit represents a specific Mexican state where that fruit is typical. By 1960, Jarritos had become Mexico's best-selling soft drink.
