When you want to focus on ice skating instead of sweating, connect a cordless drill to the ice auger! Ice augers connected to cordless drills are very popular and the reason is of course the lightness and ease of making ice holes. The ice auger can be attached directly to the chuck of the cordless drill in seconds. The flange prevents the auger from falling into the opening. The auger has replaceable bits. NOTE! Jasu Kide Only Jasu Kide Blades are suitable for ice augers!! There is no hand cranking option in the auger, so keep a spare battery with you on ice fishing trips. The auger can only be used with a hand-held cordless drill to avoid hand injuries! A cordless drill with an additional handle should have torque and a durable 18V 5.0 Ah Li-Ion battery. The diameter of the spindle entering the cordless drill is 10 mm.
Make sure your cordless drill has an auxiliary handle.
Never drill without an auxiliary handle!
Lock the rotation of the drill by placing the direction switch on the top of the switch in the middle
Open the chuck of the drill by hand, do not rotate with the switch
Put the attachment part of the auger into the chuck of the drill.
Always tighten the chuck by hand, do not press the switch (causes a dangerous situation when tightening).
Set the transmission of the drill to rotate slowly (Gear switch to position 1).
Adjust the drill's torque converter so that in stuck situations the drill hits empty and doesn't sprain your wrists.
Always drill with two hands. One hand is always on the auxiliary handle and the other hand is always on the handle of the drill. Never drill with one hand.
Never hold onto the chuck or other rotating part of the drill or bit while drilling.
Make sure that no hanging clothes, ice pick cords or neckerchiefs become entangled in rotating parts when drilling.
Do not knock the flange part, as the sharp edges may cause damage by catching on clothing.
After drilling the hole, always set the directional switch to the center, which locks the rotation of the cordless drill.
Hold the auger upright while ice fishing next to you, don't leave it lying on the ice. The blades cause dangerous situations when unprotected.
Always use a steel guard during transport.
Never drill from the top of the seat or podium, it causes dangerous situations.
Not suitable for use by children.
Never attach any attachment to this drill.
