Jenni Tuominen has illustrated spring stamps for Posti, which are suitable for different greetings throughout the year. The pastel colored stamps depicting animals, flowers and people convey the feeling of joy associated with spring. Studio Jenni & Jukka is responsible for the graphic design of the brands.

Designing the spring stamps was Tuominen's favorite assignment. "I drew several dozen black-and-white proposals, five of which made it to the final stage. I made further edits to the illustrations before I started thinking about the color scheme, which turned out to be just the right amount of cute to bring joy and positivity to the signs. I hope that the stamps convey the feeling of happiness that I experienced while making them."

Spring means a new beginning for Jenni Tuominen, when winter recedes and nature awakens to a new bloom. "Every spring I look forward to getting to the cottage to see what's happening in the garden. I always don't even remember what I planted in the fall and I look forward to whatever wonderful surprises emerge from the ground. The first daffodils and tulips are especially pleasing."

Tuominen has been designing printed designs for Marimekko since 2006. He received the state award for illustration art in 2017. Currently, Tuominen is particularly interested in ceramics. There is also a growing interest in Jenni's work on the Asian market.
