Professional tyre tester BD Testing Oy tested Lappi Jää-Ahma and Nexen Winguard WinSpike WH62 studded tyres. The Lappi Jää-Ahma had 96 Shuriken special studs. Nexen had 190 standard pins. The final result of the test showed that the Lappi Jää-Ahma was 5% better than the Nexen in ice braking.
