Laxström ice saw with wooden handle. Enlarging the opening is difficult even during thick ice with Laxström's efficient saw. The blade of the ice saw is made of flexible and torsion-resistant special steel, which is galvanized to prevent rusting. The saw has a sharp tip that can be used as a guide when making the starting hole. In the sawing position, the blade is locked in a twist of the hand with a wing nut.
