The Lowrance Point-1 is an excellent position and direction finding device. Point-1 provides very accurate and fast ship position and speed updates. Unlike antennas that only transmit position, Point-1 reports the boat's exact direction at all speeds and displays it as a radar/map data layer. The Point-1 is easy to connect to an HDS Gen2, HDS Gen2 Touch or Elite-7 monitor or any NMEA 2000 network. It is completely waterproof and can be installed on any boat, either flat or on a pole.
