By using the twilight switch / motion detector sensor, you can use the deep radiators even more energy-efficiently. With standard settings, the light turns on when the dimmer switch detects the need for light. When the sensor detects movement, the light turns on at full power. When the sensor does not detect movement for five minutes, the light first dims to energy-saving mode, and finally turns off completely after 15 minutes, if no movement is still detected. With the separately purchased remote control, you can adjust detection times and sensitivity, and you can also adjust different operating modes and light brightness.
The PIR infrared sensor is suitable for open spaces where movement can be recognized without obstacles directly in the detection area of the sensor. The sensor is also perfectly suited for outdoor use, as rain and wind do not normally cause the sensor to activate incorrectly. The infrared sensor is not suitable for locations where the temperature may rise particularly high, as the detection distance of the sensor decreases significantly at high temperatures.
