The Makita DFL303F4Z is a programmable carbon brushless screwdriver for precision screwdriving when you need to get joints to a specific torque. When tightening, the DFL303F stops when the desired tightening torque is reached and the green indicator light lights up briefly. If there is something wrong with the joint and the tightening is not as it should be, the machine will beep and the red indicator light will illuminate. A low battery warning light will be illuminated until the battery is completely discharged. The indicator lights also indicate the need for future maintenance. The machine itself does not require any maintenance beyond normal cleaning, but the user can set the desired maintenance interval.

The desired tightening torque is set on a separate test bench between 10 and 30 Nm. To adjust the torque, a separate key (Makita product no. 765027-4) is required. For a more extensive adjustment, a separate computer program can also be used. The rotation speed is adjustable between 50 and 420 min-¹. The program can also be used to adjust different stages of tightening, e.g. initially a full revolution to ensure that the screw hits the thread, then a full revolution to remove the "blanks" from the long screw, and finally a slow-down for slower revolutions to control the final tightening. This is all done automatically and very quickly by pressing the drive switch.

The battery protection system automatically cuts off the power in case of faults and low battery charge and protects the battery from overloading, overheating and deep discharge. Please note that this product is the body version. The battery and charger are sold separately. An 18 V 5.0 or 6.0 Ah battery is recommended.
