The machine has an efficient, long-lasting and power-saving carbon brushless motor. The device fits 125 mm diamond discs, which can cut up to 40 mm and up to 27 mm at a 45 degree angle. An LED light illuminates the working area. The ADT system automatically adjusts the machine's revolutions and power according to the load.

The device is specially designed with dust-free working in mind, and the Makita XPT system effectively protects the machine against water and dust even in the most demanding conditions. For working, you can use the supplied 500 mL water tank in the machine, connect it directly to a water hose or connect it to a vacuum cleaner. The mower is ready for the remote control function of the AWS vacuum cleaner, which allows it to be paired with an AWS compatible vacuum cleaner using a wireless Bluetooth connection, so that when the device starts, the vacuum cleaner starts at the same time.

The safety of the user is quickly increased by the brake that slows down the rotation of the disc and the safety switch to prevent accidental starts.
