The DHG181 is a battery-powered hot air blower for Makita's 18V LXT system and it is excellently suited for many heating and stripping needs, such as for removing paint and applying shrink wrap.
The temperature control is stepless and with the first setting the air is not heated, but the device only works as a fan. Between settings 2-6, the temperature control is stepless and can be adjusted to the range 150-550°C. There are two settings for air volume, 120 or 200 l/min. Operating time with one 18V LXT 6.0 Ah battery up to 22 min with maximum blowing and temperature.
The nozzles can be changed easily and quickly thanks to the quick release without the risk of having to touch hot metal parts. The operating switch can be locked in the ON position for longer working hours. The LED light illuminates the work area, so you can work even in the dark.
With the help of a hanging hook, the device can be placed where you want, and the machine is designed so that it can be kept running even on the table with the nozzle facing up, leaving both hands free for work.
The machine is delivered in a Makpac bag and includes 4 different nozzles. Body version without battery and charger.
