The DUH606 hedge trimmer with a carbon brushless motor belongs to Makita's extensive 18V product family. Its maximum cutting capacity is 20 mm. The blade is made of aluminum to make the cutter as light as possible. The cutting blades are sharpened and shaped in such a way that the branches go between the blades more easily and break effortlessly.
In addition to lightness, user comfort has been improved by designing the front and back handles as ergonomic as possible, e.g. by changing the direction of movement of the front safety switch and the size and angle of the rear handle. The back handle has padded grip surfaces. Effective vibration damping contributes to reducing the strain on the user.
The operating time of the DUH606 with one 5 Ah battery is up to 60 minutes. The weight of the mower when equipped with that battery is only 3.0 kg. Body version without battery and charger.
