MAkita TD002G is a powerful Makita XGT 40V series carbon brushless impact screwdriver with several different function modes that make it easier to use. The automatic speed control maintains a constant torque and prevents the reduction of the rotational speed caused by a reduced battery charge. The machine uses double spring technology: In lighter loads, the machine uses only one spring for impact, while in heavier jobs it uses two springs.
There are four different speed ranges and six different function modes to choose from: two automatic functions for drill bit screws and pre-set functions for wood (1) and bolts (3). Stepless speed control is available in all different function modes and speed ranges. This enables precise fastening in various applications. eXtreme Protection Technology (XPT) improves dust and water resistance when working in challenging conditions.

Very convenient attachment of the screw tip just by pressing the tip into place. The tip locks automatically, and there is no need to lift the clamping collar as is normally the case with similar machines. Four LED lights illuminate the screwing target without shadow. Three different brightness settings and the lights can also be turned on permanently by placing the direction change lever in the middle position and pressing the operating switch. The lights either turn off automatically after an hour or if the power switch is pressed again.

The XGT® system has built-in digital communication between the battery and the machine. This way the battery can communicate with the tool and vice versa. The battery also recognizes and stores in memory the tools used with it.
