Makita XGT ADP12 40V communicator

XGT® 40V battery and machine operating data easily to your smartphone app or computer. With the ADP12 communicator, you can monitor the charge rate, cell charge and voltage, and load of your XGT® batteries. With a PIN code, you can lock your batteries and machines to work only with devices with the same PIN code.

The ADP12 is a versatile tool for fleet management. The communicator allows the following functions to be set on machines and batteries:

PIN locking:
A specific PIN code can be set for a machine and a battery, which allows the battery and the machine to interact with each other. The same PIN code can be set for all the machines and batteries of a technician, for example, to keep better control of the fleet. Machines and batteries can also be timed, so that the battery/machine pair only works for a set period of time.

Notes:
Notes can be written on the machines and batteries, e.g. name of the installer, maintenance visits, etc.

Monitoring of the machine and battery usage history:
The batteries show the charging cycles of the battery in question, the current voltage, the charge status of individual cells, as well as the load and temperature history.

The machines show the activation times of various safety features, such as AFT (anti-backfire protection) and motor overheat protection. The smartphone app can be downloaded from the Apple and Android app stores. For use with a computer, a USB cable is required.
