The DF001G is a very efficient drill for the needs of a demanding professional. Makita's most robust drill is equipped with electronic torque control and an acceleration sensor, which stops the machine if the blade gets stuck. This safety feature prevents the user's wrist from twisting.

The DF001G has a selection panel with a digital display, where you can select the desired tightening torque. There are 41 different torque ranges in 1st gear (1-45Nm) and 21 in 2nd gear (1-10Nm). Electronic torque control stops the machine when the desired torque is reached. The high speed range 0-2600 min-1 is excellent for both small and large blades. The safety-enhancing AFT technology prevents possible wrist injuries by turning off the motor if the rotation of the drill bit stops unexpectedly due to an obstacle. The DF001G is equipped with a long-lasting and efficient carbon brushless motor.

Machining amount with a 40V 2.5Ah battery approx. 40 pieces of ø8 x 400 mm long SPAX screws for 400 mm thick wood, approx. 90 pieces of drilled holes for 38 mm thick wood with a ø65 mm self-feeding drill bit and approx. 480 pieces of drilled holes for 38 mm thick wood 22 mm with a twist wood drill bit.

The XGT® system has built-in digital communication between the battery and the machine. This way the battery can communicate with the tool and vice versa. The battery also recognizes and stores in memory the tools used with it. XGT® machines have an efficient carbon brushless motor, which enables a longer operating time per charge.
