The length of the trap is 72 cm. The height is 16 cm and the width is 18 cm. The trap is constructed of 1"x1" galvanized mesh and has galvanized 4 mm wire reinforcements.
The mink is a skilled swimmer and lives in a natural state in the forest near a body of water, where it prefers lush coastal vegetation. Because of this, it likes to move along streams and rivers, as well as on the shores of lakes and seas. The mink is 50–60 cm long and weighs 0.8–2.0 kilograms. The diet consists of birds, eggs, small rodents and fish. In a normal litter, 4–6 chicks are born.
To activate the trap, pull the spring upwards and turn the hatch inwards. Raise the running board until the hook attaches to the door. Hold the trap upright and drop the bait into the food cup. The trap closes when the mink steps on the step inside the trap.
