Delivered with the new Multi-Mount fastening system, which enables the sheath to be attached almost anywhere. The Multi-Mount mounting plate is directly compatible with MOLLE systems (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) common in military use and many backpacks with two wide mounting velcro straps (included in delivery). Cleverly placed screw holes and belt grommets in the mounting plate enable mounting almost anywhere else, and thanks to the design of the back surface, it is also suitable for mounting on bars and railings. The sheath is locked to the mounting plate by means of a narrow securing strap made of Velcro, and the knife can be used from the sheath, leaving the sheath in place. The knife can be inserted into the sheath from both sides, so the use is effective both in low light and for right- and left-handed people. For the sheath, the delivery includes two upper parts with a leather loop: 1: Closed belt loop (for max 70 mm wide belts), thanks to which the sheath can be carried on the belt without the Multi-Mount mounting plate and when doing business in public spaces, the knife with the sheath can be easily snapped off the loop and left in the vehicle. 2: Safety locking loop with snap flap, thanks to which the knife can be locked in the sheath while it is attached to the Multi-Mount plate. The flap prevents the knife from being dropped unintentionally (which also eliminates risks, e.g. when driving an all-terrain vehicle on bumpy terrain and when moving on a boat, kayak, ATV or snowmobile), but still keeps the knife immediately available for emergency situations. Several military guidelines require such a safety lock for MOLLE systems.
The bi-material handle combines durable plastic with a softer material that is pleasant even in the cold and offers an excellent grip. The material of the blade is specially treated Swedish special stainless steel, which means it stays very sharp for a long time. Scandi profile-hinged blade from tip to thin.
The package includes: Knife, scabbard, belt loop, security locking loop, Multi-Mount base, wide velcro nuts for attaching the base and narrow velcro to secure the sheath to the base.
