The Xi3 is the latest member of the Xi series. It comes with a wireless feature as standard, so there is no need for expensive accessories. With the handheld remote control, the Xi3 can be controlled from anywhere on the boat. The SecureStep system makes raising and lowering the machine safe and easy. Releasing the engine from the locked position and lifting it for recovery requires only one step with the release lever from a comfortable standing position. PinpointGPS takes control accuracy to the next level! Pinpoint achieves incredibly accurate performance by using extremely accurate GPS reception and precise control algorithms. A small and easy-to-use remote control can be used to control the following features:

- Anchor: Keeps the boat in place in a fixed GPS coordinate and up to eight locations can be stored in the memory. In anchor mode, the direction control can be used to move the boat in any direction in 1.5m increments.
- Course lock: Steers the boat to the desired compass direction.
- Route: Save and play up to eight routes, each of which can be up to 6.4 km long.
- Cruise control: Maintains the GPS speed when traveling along a course or route.

NOTE! Remember to calibrate the compass and bow line according to the instructions the first time you use it! Without calibration, for example, the accuracy of the sky anchor is not the best possible.

All functions that are managed with the PinpointGPS remote control can also be used completely through Lowrance displays using the Lowrance SmartSteer? software (HDS-Gen2, Gen2 Touch, Gen3, HDS Carbon, HDS Live, Elite Ti 7-12, Elite Ti2, Elite FS) . The intuitive user interface gives the fisherman the full opportunity to focus on fishing, while the electronics and bow motor take care of the boat's control! The front panel of the motor has LED lights, from which the fisherman can see the states of the key functions of the motor in all lighting conditions.
