Snail dynamite / Mortar 5 kg. Perfectly suited for: quarrying rock, breaking rock, cutting rock, clearing yards, dismantling concrete and reinforced concrete structures, e.g. piers, stairs, plinths, elements, etc.
Important information before starting use
The holes to be drilled must be clean and must not contain water. The mortar must be mixed so that it does not harden or clump. The mortar must not be too thick so that it can be easily poured into the holes. After mixing, the finished mass is poured flowing into the drilled holes. The mortar can be mixed using, for example, a drill whisk. After pouring the mass into the holes, you should wait 1-2 days, depending on the weather and conditions, after which the boulders to be broken are usually broken. Consumption depending on the size of the hole approx. 80 cm hole / kg of powder.
Use of the product
Drill holes in the splitting material with a rock drill every 15-60cm with a 30-40mm drill bit. You get the best result by testing with a few holes how the material behaves, because concrete, stone, rock, etc. materials have differences in terms of splitting. The material also affects the depth of the holes, but a depth of less than 75% of the object's height is not recommended. Sometimes even a deeper hole than this is required.
Mixing ratio: 3:1 (3 parts powder and 1 part water). To mix the whole bag at once: 1.5l water + 5kg powder. First pour the powder into the mixing bowl, then add the water. Mix with a drill whisk or something similar until the mass is mixed and runny (so that it can be easily poured into the holes). Lumps must not remain in the mass. Do not use a glass or metal container when mixing. The drilled holes must be clean. Pour the runny mass into the holes as soon as possible after mixing (max. within 5 minutes). The mortar must be fluid when used, otherwise the mortar should not be used. When you have filled all the holes, wait for the breakable boulder to crack. NOTE! This can take several days, depending on the piece to be broken and the outside temperature. If the boulder does not split, increase the number of holes and check that there are no lumps in the mass, etc. The recommended operating temperature is -5 to +20 degrees. If the finished product remains after use, pour the mixture, for example, over a plastic bag and let it sit until the reaction takes place, then dispose of the substance appropriately. NOTE! During the reaction, the substance may bubble and boil strongly.
What kind of holes for different boulders
A boulder The distance between the holes is approx. 10 cm, depending on the type of stone ista The depth of the holes is at least 80-90% of the total height of the boulder. Holes should be drilled at regular intervals, in the same direction. The diameter of the hole must be 28-40mm.
Concrete blocks The distance of the holes is approx. 40 cm from each other. The depth of the holes is at least 75% of the total height of the boulder. Holes should be drilled at regular intervals, in the same direction. Use a 30mm drill bit.
Rock mining Always drill the holes in line with the outer edge of the rock cut. First, drill a test hole along the outer edge, e.g. 30 cm away from the edge. If the edge splits, continue with the other holes at the same distance. Drill the holes at least to the depth of the entire rock cut. Use an approx. 40mm drill bit.
