Mylly's Paras Emännän Semi-Coarse Wheat Flour is made from the core part of the wheat grain. Semi-coarse wheat flour is more finely ground than special wheat flour and is well suited for buns and light bread and rolls, but also as a general flour for all baking.
Semi-coarse wheat flour quickly absorbs the dough liquid, so that the dough grid is also quickly formed. Therefore, Semi-Coarse Wheat Flour is well suited for yeast doughs that require good toughness, such as for baking buns, rolls and light breads. It is also suitable as all-purpose wheat flour. Because it is quite fine, it is good to put Semi-Coarse Wheat Flour in cake, tart and gingerbread doughs, whisking well through a sieve, so that it does not clump.
