This mains powered Nedis Smart Zigbee gas detector improves safety. The high sensitivity of the sensor enables detection of even a really small amount of natural gas (methane) and ensures that you get a timely warning of a high gas concentration with a 75dB alarm sound. In addition to this, you will receive a notification on your phone, wherever you are. This requires a Nedis Zigbee gateway (WIFIZBxxx) and the free Nedis SmartLife app.

You and your family are safe and feel safe at home and while sleeping. The correct location of the gas detector is important because certain gases rise upwards and others stay closer to the floor. The gas detector is always installed close to the source, such as a central heating boiler, stove or gas cylinders.

The detector has a test button for regular checks and a mute button that can be used to silence the alarm for five minutes when the situation is under control. In addition, it tells about the end of its useful life (about five years) with LED lights and in the application.

The mains-powered detector can be plugged directly into a socket, so it is easy to place near any gas source or potential leak, for example in the garage or kitchen.
